If you are seeing what look like prompts for viruses, it most likely is a notification that you accepted on some website somewhere. They usually pop up within a few seconds of being on a site and then if you hit allow, it will do it until you block it.
This video shows how to block notifications so that the fake virus or whatever annoying popups stop occurring.
